Giving Tuesday is a global movement of generosity that takes place each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It’s a day dedicated to giving back—through donations, acts of kindness, and service to others. At Holy Covenant, Giving Tuesday is a chance to reflect Christ’s love by supporting ministries that make a real difference—locally, globally, and right here in our community. Whether you choose to give to HCKaty, UMCOR, or Katy Christian Ministries, your generosity helps bring hope, healing, and light into the lives of others.
At Holy Covenant, we believe that everything we have is a gift from God. When we give back, we’re not just supporting a budget, we’re partnering in ministry. Every dollar helps share God’s love through worship, missions, spiritual growth, and community outreach.
Each year, we invite our church family to prayerfully submit an Estimate of Giving for the coming year. These commitments are not binding, but they allow our leadership to plan responsibly and boldly for the work God is calling us to do.
Together, we can accomplish more than any of us could alone.
Sometimes, members are also called to give beyond their tithe. These extra gifts allow us to respond to special projects, community needs, and new ministry initiatives beyond our regular operating budget. Every gift, no matter the size, makes an impact.
