Ministry Investment Campaign

24 Years of Ministry… Now It’s Our Turn.

Investing in the Future of Holy Covenant

Since 2002, our Worship Center has been much more than a building.

It has been the place where we gather to worship each week. It has welcomed new members into our church family, celebrated baptisms and weddings, hosted Vacation Bible School, concerts, Bible studies, children’s and youth ministries, memorial services, community events, and countless moments where lives have been changed through the love of Christ.

For 24 years, this sanctuary has faithfully served Holy Covenant.

Now it’s our turn.

Why We’re Replacing the Air Conditioning
The two large air conditioning systems that serve our Worship Center were installed when the building was constructed in 2002.
While commercial HVAC systems typically last 15 to 20 years, ours have faithfully served our church for 24 years. One unit has now failed completely, and the second is operating under significant strain.
After months of evaluation, consultation with trusted HVAC professionals, and reviewing multiple proposals, the Board of Stewards approved replacing both systems with new equipment designed to serve our church for many years to come.

The total project cost is $187,000

Because the equipment must be custom fabricated, the church has already paid the required deposit so manufacturing can begin. Installation is expected approximately 10 to 12 weeks later.

Our Goal
Our goal is to raise $187,000 in commitments by October so we can complete this project without taking on debt.

A commitment lets us know what you plan to give and when you expect to give it. This allows the church to confidently plan for upcoming project payments while giving you flexibility to fulfill your commitment over the coming weeks and months.

How You Can Help
We invite every individual and family to prayerfully consider making a commitment toward this project. Whether your commitment is large or small, every gift makes a difference.

No gift is too small. Every commitment matters.

Please Continue Your Regular Giving
Your regular tithes and offerings continue to fund the ministries and daily operations of Holy Covenant, including worship, missions, children’s ministry, youth ministry, outreach, staffing, and caring for our church family.
We ask that commitments toward this project be made above and beyond your regular giving whenever possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

The two commercial HVAC units that serve our Worship Center were installed when the building was constructed in 2002. After 24 years of service, one unit has failed completely, and the second has reached the end of its expected lifespan. Replacing both units is the most responsible long-term solution for our church.

One of the two units has failed beyond repair, and the second is well beyond its typical service life. After consulting with HVAC professionals and evaluating multiple options, the Board of Stewards determined that replacing both units is the most cost-effective and reliable solution.

The second unit is also 24 years old and has been working overtime to cool the Worship Center since the first unit failed. Replacing both systems at the same time reduces future disruption, improves efficiency, and helps avoid another major replacement in the near future.

The total project cost is $187,000, which includes two new commercial HVAC units, new air handlers, installation, and a five year extended warranty.

The new HVAC equipment must be custom fabricated for our building. Manufacturing and delivery take approximately 10 to 12 weeks, followed by installation.

Yes. The Board of Stewards has approved the project and authorized the required 35% deposit so fabrication of the new equipment can begin.

If you are able to make your gift today, we are grateful and encourage you to do so. Immediate gifts help the church meet project expenses as they come due.

We also recognize that some families may need additional time to make their gift. If that is your situation, we invite you to make a commitment instead. A commitment lets us know the amount you plan to give and when you anticipate fulfilling it, allowing church leadership to confidently plan for upcoming project payments.

Whether you give today or make a commitment to give by October, your generosity helps us move closer to our goal of completing this project without taking on debt.

A commitment is simply your intention to give a specific amount toward this project. It is not a legally binding agreement. It helps the church plan responsibly as payments for the project come due.

We ask that commitments be fulfilled by October, although gifts may be made sooner if you are able.

Yes. You may fulfill your commitment through one gift or multiple gifts between now and October.

You may give:

  • Online through the church website
  • By check
  • By cash
  • Through the offering plate

Please designate your gift as AC Repair or Maintenance Fund.

No. We ask that commitments toward this project be above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings whenever possible. Your regular giving continues to support the ministries, missions, staff, and daily operations of Holy Covenant.

Our hope is to secure enough commitments to complete the project without taking on additional debt. The Board of Stewards will continue to evaluate the church’s financial position and determine the best course of action if additional funding is needed.

Any gifts received beyond the amount needed for this project will remain in the church’s Maintenance Fund and be used for future facility maintenance and repair projects. These funds will help us proactively care for our campus and address future facility needs.

Yes. Gifts designated for the AC Repair or Maintenance Fund during this campaign will first be applied to the HVAC replacement project. Any funds remaining after the project is fully funded will stay in the Maintenance Fund for future building maintenance and repairs.
