Members in Ministry - Children's Sunday School - Do you feel called to share your faith with children? Sunday morning Sunday School is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our children and help them discover a faith of their own. VIDEO PROJECT for WEBSITE - We are looking for a few families, couples, or individuals who would be willing to share a 1 or 2 minute story of their lives here at Holy Covenant. These short video vignettes will be used on our website to help those outside of our congregation understand what it means to be in ministry at our church, as well as the caring family that is found here. Pack 567 Event - Calling all boys 1st—4th grades: you are invited to join Pack 567 for a night of fun under the stars! The time is from 6:00-11:00pm. There will be: pizza, an astronomy presentation, star & planet gazing, crafts, and video and board games. Please bring 3 canned goods for donation. For more information, email

Summer Study - "How Can God Help with the Decisions in your Life" - This 4 week study is designed to help you go to God first when you need to make big decisions. We will discuss not only how to go to the scriptures for advise but also how to listen to God in your prayer life. The study begins on Sunday, July 16th.

Members in Ministry Needed! - Do you enjoy music and working with children? We are looking for Members in Ministry to help guide small groups and assist in the elective and music class times during The Music Factory, July 24-28th from 9:00am-3:00pm. Members are needed the full day or just morning or afternoon, whichever works better for you. Additionally, we need help with the Music Factory Water Carnival from 10:00am-1:00pm on Friday, July 28th. Please contact Steve Hale at if you would like to be a part of this ministry.

The Music Factory (formerly Summer Music Camp) - Save the dates July 24-28th and join us at the HCKaty Music Factory this summer where new friendships are built as we practice and perform together the musical entitled "Here For the GoId" based on the parables of Jesus. The website to register is being revamped and will be up and running within the week, so watch for more information on that. Children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade are able to attend. Adult and youth leaders are also needed during that week. Contact Steve Hale at if you would like to join the fun!

Splash Day - Calling all kids! Come and have some water fun with your friends on Thursday, August 3rd from 10:00am-1:00pm. There will be the big water slide, the famous Kiddie Car Wash and other fun water games to play. Bring a towel, sunscreen and lunch and join your friends for a day of fun!

Members in Ministry - HC Katy wants to kick off the school year donating supplies to Winborn Elementary! As we continue to support our partner school we thought this would be a great way to start the new school year. Items requested are:

*Boxes of facial tissue (large boxes, 160 tissues)
*Wide ruled composition books
*Box of 24 Crayola crayons
*Expo black chisel tip dry erase markers (4 count pack)
*Elmer's washable school glue sticks
*Wide ruled notebook paper (no college rule)
* #2 Dixon Ticonderoga pencils (24 count pencil packs)

Counters Needed - The Finance Team is looking for volunteers that could count the weekly offering at 9:00am on Monday mornings in the church office. Counting will be done in teams of two on a rotational basis and should take less than an hour of your time. No experience is necessary. If you are interested in helping, please contact either or

Wrapped in Love - We have several crocheted prayer shawls, baby and fleece blankets that are ready for delivery in gift bags in the workroom cabinet. If you have a family member, friend, neighbor or co-worker who would appreciate one, feel free to take one for them. We ask only that you sign our sign out sheet so we can keep our inventory current and know who the recipients are to ensure there are no duplications.

Worship Opportunity - Have you ever considered leading Children's time in worship? This is an opportunity to share truths from God's word. You get to hang out with people who laugh and play. Searching for Smiling Faces! - The church office and CDC are looking for friendly faces that can volunteer a few hours once a week or every other week to greet CDC visitors and late arrivals, help answer phones and assist church office, CDC, children's ministries and Youth ministries in preparation of materials as needed. Volunteer Opportunities - Invest your time by volunteering with Pregnancy Help Center of West Houston educating and supporting men and women in making healthy choices for life in sexual integrity, unplanned pregnancy and post-abortion loss. Volunteer opportunities include mentoring, facilitating small groups, Bible study leader, teaching life skills classes, administrative assistance, and donation room. Discover your calling! Worsted Yarn Needed! - The Wrapped in Love ladies are asking for your help. They are looking for donations of worsted yarn. It takes about 12oz for a prayer shawl and 16oz for a baby blanket. They would appreciate your support as they begin a new season of knitting and crocheting beginning next Wednesday January 20th as part of the Wednesday Night Encounter Classes.
